A redpoll question again, this time at Warnham, West Sussex yesterday. This individual was by far the palest of a small group of ~4 birds, and I'm wondering if we might have another Mealy on our hands...

Could be, did you see the rump, if it was white with a liberal amount of spotting? that could be a clincher!

Its warm coloured. I'd have called that a Lesser Redpoll.
