Yes, I go there probably once a month, used to be weekly but that was a few years back now. For anything fowlmere related just go here - Cooper and Scott top bloke and an excellent birder.

I was at Fowlmere last Friday (27-03-2025) for the first time in 4 years, I always enjoy it there. I spent an hour or so in the reedmarsh hide and the highlight was a heron catching a pike about 40m to the left of the hide, here's a series of photos of the encounter.
Also had 2 marsh harriers hunting on the reedbeds near the hide
I shall return again soon , thanks to the friendly volunteers who do a great job
