Scope with Wimberley sidekick or full gimbal (1 Viewer)

Hio all,

I have a question.

Anyone here using Sidekick with straight or angled scope for birding cum digiscoping ?

If yes, any comments on it ?

Thanks :king:

Wimberley Sidekick gimbal is not so popular here because of their high cost. But recently the much cheaper the Benro GH-1 and Jobu Design Jr2 and Black Widow gimbal are being used more. If I already did not have the Gitzo G2180 I might use one now that they are relatively inexpensive. But gimbals are really best for flight shots which are pretty much impossible with digiscoping.

Sure, but understand even a small gimbal will position your scope 10-20cm higher than video head. Also make sure to get a long slide plate, maybe ~10cm size, to properly adjust the balance.
