The fact is there are no sites on the web that give an absolutely 100% accurate list of world birds - if such a thing exists at all.
As part of the GGBC I have been taking a Sibley and Monroe list and updating it for splits etc etc. It's a mind boggling job and I'm sure in nearly 9800 bird names there must be some mistakes.
The site grousemore points you to is pretty good and is not just a list - containing useful info. But I take no responsibility for its contents!
