So i bought this Panora optik 8x30 binoculars and the image was fine, but they were dirty, so i took the eyepieces out then continued the disassembly, took out the prisms to clean them(i marked the orientation) then put them back.

After that i closed it and moved to the front part of the binoculars and marked how much they were tightened before unscrewing.
Cleaned the lenses without taking out the front prisms and screwed them back in.

The problem is that only the left objective is in focus and the right one cannot be focused.

The part that holds and focuses both eyepieces has a lot of play because when i was taking it apart they were pressfit with soft metal part in the middle, so i guess they were not made to be taken apart and as you can see on the image that little piece that is broken held them tightly together.

I don't have a lathe, so any advice on what should i do other than ordering a custom part? I can print one, but i don't think plastic will do in this case.
