Small Flycatcher ID Help (Green Valley, AZ) (1 Viewer)

Captured today on my back patio.

Any help with the ID is appreciated

Odd - seems to have short primaries but doesn't look like anything that has short primaries. I guess it's a dull-looking Say's phoebe: uniform grey underparts but for rusty vent/lower belly. Thus would actually be a largish flycatcher rather than a small one.

The color looks like a Say's Phoebe but it is much smaller.

I think you nailed it. In looking at my field guide, this is the closest match to my eye also.

Underparts pattern surely correct. Weird juvenile-type gape bill pattern distinctive for beardless tyrannulet too

Bills wrong, grays aren’t crested, grays show more striking wing bars. To me this is 100% a Northern Beardless Tyrannulet.
