south africa cisticolas (1 Viewer)

This is not a confident reply, and I hope others will confirm or repair. Partly my lack of ability, but also the photos are not from such good angles.

I think the first bird looks good for Levaillant's Cisticola.

I don't think the second bird can be a cisticola with that breast pattern (see enlargement attached). I wonder if it might be Pink-billed Lark? I've never seen this, but your bird seems to have a pink bill, and the rest seems to fit judging from Sasol.

Don't know where site is, but Levaillant's looks good call for 1 if it's at the site.

2nd bird looks like a Euplectes, eg Southern Red Bishop, so check options at site
