Spanish Lizard (1 Viewer)

I tend to call these "Gecko", but I'd appreciate the real name for future reference. This one was in Olot in the Spanish Garrotxa.

It looks to me to be an Iberian Wall Lizard (Podarcis hispanica). Location is correct too. There are a couple of other Podarcis species in the general area but only P. muralis should overlap directly.

Lee, thanks for this. You mention an overlap with other Podacris species. Does this meen that the little wall-dwelling lizards I've seen in the south of Spain could be a different species?
