How can I tell them apart. The female Spatula Discors and Cinnamon teal , if somebody knows , I would highly appreciate if you tell me. Cause I want to find out.

This is a Cinnamon Teal...the female is on the right side (as we look at the screen)

Now those are female Spatula Discors. Now in case you haven't noticed. I call this duck by it's scientific name cause it's common name is ''blue winged teal'' which is inconsistent and vert unimaginative to bestow that name to a duck cause a lot of ducks have blue wings. And that includes the cinnamon teal too.

But that's besides the point. The main point is how can I tell the difference between the females Spatual Discors and Cinnamon Teals ?

Female Blue-winged Teal has greyer plumage, a smaller bill and bolder facial markings, including white at the base of the bill and a more prominent, broken eye ring.

Cinnamon Teal has richer brown plumage, the eye line and broken eye ring are less distinct and a longer, more spatulate bill.

Thank you a lot sir for the helpful details! Now I found how to differentiate those 2 species too.
