Spectacled Barwing Song ID Verification (1 Viewer)

Would like any help verifying this short song clip taken this month (April) in western Guangxi, China. Elevation about 450m in a habitat of very healthy, mostly untouched mountain forest.
The bird was not seen, and though the clip is short it seems very, very similar to this and other clips on eBird: Spectacled Barwing

Hoping that someone with more familiarity with this species might be able to confirm ID. Thanks
Mike

Bump!

Can anyone help with this - it would be nice to be able to add this clip to the Opus article if it can be confirmed.

I don't have enough experience to confirm but will add some support to it being Spectacled Barwing. The tone reminds me of Rusty-fronted (recent experience) - whistly, generally descending, and not exactly happy. Rusty-fronted is the closest species to Spectacled and Spectacled is the only Barwing (by name) in Guangxi. I assume it was recorded at least as far west as Baise, in which case the range would be good. Within Actinodura, there's also Blue-winged Minla in this area but it doesn't sound like it to me - it would have plainer more extended notes, a slower feel I think. In any case it doesn't match what I've heard locally in neighbouring Guizhou. Finally, the specific notes and pattern of this recording match some of the other recordings so well. I'd say it seems likely it's Spectacled.

Thanks so much for your help with this
