Strange Noise? Piedmont NC (1 Viewer)

Twice now I’ve heard this weird noise around 2 or 3 am that I’ve never heard before. The first time it only made this noise once a minute maybe 45 seconds, which is even weirder, it was a set long pause that went on for hours. Just now I heard it a few times and that was it. I’ve linked a video so hopefully someone can I identify this! Note this video is taken from a third floor window, it sounds close? Maybe in the trees, but I’m thinking it’s possible it’s not a bird…. help

It might be a begging call from a Barred Owl.
