Swainson's Hawks are back in Utah For The Summer (1 Viewer)

I've been seeing a few Swainson's hawks the past few weeks in Utah, including yesterday where I found both a dark morph and a light morph on the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge. Not totally uncommon here but still pretty cool to see knowing how far they migrate each year.

That is incredible. I wonder if this pair ever left, or migrated early? Conditions in the Argentine Pampas region may have prompted an early leave there. I hope you update this as things happen. Very sharp photograph by the way!
