North-eastern Poland, 26th of June, 8:30 am, habitat: garden, near forest, background species: eurasian collared dove, common redstart; I didn't see the bird

I've never seen or heard a tree creeper in my garden, but there are quite a lot of them in my forest, so maybe...

They are not easy to spot being so small and on the trunk rather than the branches we heard one and sat on a log amazed to see the whole family in Calke park Derbyshire the other day.

Agreed. I ran the first sound through the ChirpOMatic app and it returned Hawfinch.
