This morning I went to walmsley for sunrise after organising access to the tower hide. It was an absolutely beautiful morning :). I added a water rail, water pipit, redwing and gadwall to my in life list. There was a huge wealth of birds here I also had a nice tawny owl sighting, tonnes of curlew flying around, a large family of mute swans, plenty of mallards, gulls, corvids, A few greenshank, a kingfisher, lots of noisy stonechats, magpies, blue tits, great tits, blackbirds, robins, dunnocks, Moorhens, chaffinches, wrens, grey and white wagtails, meadow pippit, cettis warbler, buzzard, siskin, linnets, goldfinches, Canada geese (only 4 unlike the normal massive crowds) and a long tail tit.
