I was reviewing some photos on eBird and noticed this White-necked Jacobin with an odd red spot on its bill and I can't figure out what it is. Doesn't seem to be an avian pox deformity. It's more or less the same color as the feeder but I don't see why there would be a round bit of feeder like that on the bill either. Any suggestions?
