What is the difference a Leitz and a Leica 8x20 BCA? (1 Viewer)

The Leitz would be the older of the 2. Some improvements to the Leica would be
phase coatings on the Trinovid starting in 1995. Also other lens coating improvements,
along the way. The newer ones will be brighter, and so the Leica 8x20's are worth
more, but if you find the Leitz priced right, well under $300. may be just fine.
You are on your own for any warranty purposes, so keep that in mind.

I'm not sure when Leitz changed to Leica, but someone here may know.
