A number of Northern Wheatear around this morning but this one struck me as looking different. It remained distant in the rising heat so pic not the best. Maybe Desert or Black-eared?

Definitely not Northern...I'm not familiar with Desert- but even without a good view of tail, the amount of white on the shoulder and wing coverts combined with pale head seem to favour this species over other possibilities like Eastern black-eared or pied. Don't know if there are any additional species to consider in Egypt though?
