Where have all the Panasonic DMW LA3s gone? (2 Viewers)

I was, very generously, given the Olympus Tcon 17 teleconverter for Christmas to use with my Panasonic FZ18.
In order to use the much coveted teleconverter, I need a Panasonic lens adaptor DMW LA3. I've searched and nobody seems to have stock or knows when to expect any further stock.
Would anyone know, might there be a third party lens adaptor that I could use in the absence of the elusive Panasonic ?
