Whinchat - Paris (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I have seen that bird this morning, 30 km east from Paris, France. At first, and until I saw the pictures, I thought it was a European Stonechat quiet common in north east of France. Much more common that whinchat ; in fact I have seen some whinchat only a few times and had only in mind the male. But watching the pictures, seeing the white eyebrow , for me it is a Whinchat.






Correct ??? any help is welcome !

Yes, it's a Whinchat.

Hello JR,

agree with Andrew and you:
yes its a female Whinchat. the male has much blacker uniform earcoverts and many an more extensive and offen deeper coloured breadt
