Identification
16 cm.
Distribution
Central-eastern Brazil, north-eastern Paraguay and north-eastern Bolivia.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species1.
Habitat
Cerrado, woodland and shrub.
Behaviour
The diet includes insects.
It builds a deep cup shaped nest, lined with grasses, placed in a small tree or bush. 2-3 eggs are laid.
