Identification
A small fulvetta (11.5cm), resembling southern subspecies of Streak-throated Fulvetta1:
- Brown above, whitish below
- Streaks on throat and breast (Grey-hooded Fulvetta is unstreaked)
- Greyish-brown crown with long brown lateral crownstripe
- Grey wingpanel on primaries
Sexes similar. Juveniles are darker above and duller below.
Distribution
Found in S China (Gansu to Xizang, NW Yunnan and Sichuan).

Like other Fulvettas this species is also placed in Fulvetta.1
Habitat
Rhododendron, shrubbery and oak. Found from 2200m to 4300m.1
Behaviour
No data available on diet. Feeds probably on invertebrates.
Breeding season July to August (June to July in Xizang). The nest is suspended from a branch of bamboo and made of grass, moss and lichen. Lays 4 eggs.
