Spinus atriceps

Identification

11-13cm.

Coniferous forests of southern Mexico (Chiapas) and western Guatemala

This is a monotypic species^[1].

Evergreen, pine/oak forests and scrub. Between 2,300 and 3100 metres.

Terrestrial.

The diet includes seeds.
