Myiozetetes cayanensis

Identification

  • Broad white supercilium
  • Short stubby bill
  • Yellow underparts
  • White throat
  • Rufous margins on the wing feathers
  • Brown back

Distribution

Central and South America: found in Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Venezuela, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Brazil.

Taxonomy

Four subspecies are recognized:

  • Eastern Colombia to northern Venezuela and eastern Ecuador
