Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
This species is considered to be a subspecies of White-tailed Monarch by some authorities.[2]
Formerly placed in genus Monarcha.
Habitat
Dry coastal and lowland forests.
Behaviour
Diet
There is little published information. They usually feed in alone, in pairs or small groups high in the canopy.
