Sulawesi endemic. South East Asia: Indonesia: Greater Sundas.

Taxonomy

Subspecies

There are 3 subspecies[1]:

  • C. t. temminckii - Montane forests of northern Sulawesi
  • C. t. rileyi - Montane forests of central and south-eastern Sulawesi
  • C. t. tonkeana - Montane forests of eastern Sulawesi

Habitat

Moist forest and montane.
