Identification
A very tame little owl; smaller than a Screech-Owl, without ear tufts. Underparts have soft blotchy brown streaks. Young birds in summer are chocolate-brown, with conspicuous white eyebrows forming a broad 'V' over the bill; belly tawny ochre.
