Cinnyris nectarinioides
Nectarinia nectarinioides
Identification
Black, iridescent green neck, long down curved bill, black eye, legs and feet. Smallest sunbird.
Distribution
Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, and Tanzania.
Taxonomy
This is one of the many Sunbirds that have recently been moved to the genus Cinnyris from the genus Nectarinia.

Diet
The diet includes nectar.
Breeding
Nest is purse-shaped, suspended and built by the female, who also incubates the 1-3 eggs alone. The male helps with rearing the young.
