Identification

16cm. Head patterned dark grey, white and rufous, large black breast spot, white underparts, olive green upperparts.

Distribution

Endemic to western Mexico, from southern Sonora to northwestern Oaxaca.

Taxonomy

Habitat

Dry forests and high-altitude shrubland.
