Identification
16 cm. Black bill, dark brown eyes, and legs grey yellow to horn, medium-brown upperparts, darker brown crown, tail, and primaries, dark brown mask, bordered above and below by white, grey white throat, white belly, breast, flanks, and undertail feathers are streaked white and brown. The female has lighter brown upperparts and mask.
