Identification
11cm. Yellow and green, short, blue bills, and long, notched tails, bright yellow cheeks, underparts, crown, and rump, strong black masks from the base of the bill to the eye, greenish tails, wings, backs, and napes. The lower mandible is bent to one side; these modified bills are used to open up leaf and flower buds in search of arthropods.

Island of Kaua'i, Hawaii.
