Identification
Length about 70 cm. Greyish plumage with an inconspicuous crest, black legs, bill and eyes.
Distribution
Chaco of Paraguay and adjacent Bolivia to central Argentina.
Taxonomy
A monotypic species.
Habitat
Dry woodland and savanna.
