Sub-Saharan Africa.
Taxonomy
Eurystomus glaucurus has four subspecies:
- E. g. glaucurus;
- E. g. afer;
- E. g. suahelicus; and
- E. g. pulcherrimus.
Habitat
Behaviour
Its preferred perch is in the top of very tall trees which can make this otherwise striking bird difficult to see.
