Middle East: Arabian Peninsula, Saudi Arabia, Yemen

Taxonomy

Subspecies^[1]

Phylloscopus umbrovirens has nine subspecies:

• P. u. yemenensis

• South-western Arabian Peninsula

• P. u. umbrovirens

• Eritrea to Ethiopia and north-western Somalia

• P. u. omoensis

• Western and southern Ethiopia

• P. u. williamsi

• Northern Somalia

• P. u. mackensianus

• Southern South Sudan, northern and eastern Uganda, and central Kenya

• P. u. dorcadichroa

• South-eastern Kenya to northern Tanzania

• P. u. alpinus

• Ruwenzori Mountains

• P. u. wilhelmi

• Eastern DRC to Rwanda and south-western Uganda

• P. u. fugglescouchmani

• Eastern Tanzania

Habitat

Forests, shrubland, montanes and gardens.
