Distribution
South America: found in the eastern Andean foothills of central and south-eastern Peru and adjacent northern Bolivia.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Primary humid forest with tall canopy at 650 - 1550 m asl.
Behaviour
Described as an active species moving around while holding itself horizontal and sallying out for insects. Often utilized tall parts of the canopy. Frequently seen with mixed flocks but also occurs without those.
