Distribution
Western Amazonia in South America: found in eastern Colombia to southern Venezuela, eastern Ecuador, north-eastern Peru (Loreto) and western Amazonian Brazil.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Lowland moist forests.
