South-east Asia: Endemic to the mountains of northern Borneo (Mount Kinabalu and adjacent mountains)

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Placed in genus Vauriella by Clements.

Habitat

Montane forest; observed at heights around 2000m asl.

Behaviour

Diet

The diet includes insects which are hawked aerially.
