Nothocercus nigrocapillus

Identification

Light brown above narrowly freckled with black, paler below with dusky bars, belly pale-spotted. Length 33cm

Distribution

Northern Peru to Bolivia

Taxonomy

There are two subspecies[1]

  • N. n. cadwaladeri
    • Andes in northwestern Peru
  • N. n. nigrocapillus

Habitat

Forest.
