Identification

Location: Tagus Estuary

Iberian Chiffchaff in Morocco

A small population occure in the north of Morocco especially in the estearn Rif montains areas. Unfortunatly no scientific studies was carried out to evaluate the statute of the Moroccan population. I saw a couple of this enigmatic bird in the r�gion of tangier (North of the kingdom)

This should be more properly P. ibericus, but as yet the SM has not updated to this.
