Identification

Distribution

Found in eastern Congo and northern DRC to western Uganda and western Tanzania

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species.
It has in the past been regarded as subspecies of Red-fronted Antpecker (and before as a subspecies of Woodhouse's Antpecker).

Habitat

Subtropical/ tropical lowland moist forest
