Locality: French Guiana.

Identification

Distribution

Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela. Breeding in southern part of range, migrant in Austral winter to Venezuela and vagrant to the Guianas and Colombia.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species.

Has in the past been placed in monotypic genus Pseudattila.

Habitat

Moist lowland forests.
