Pericrocotus erythropygius has two subspecies:[1]

  • P. e. erythropygius
  • Peninsular India (Punjab and Rajasthan to Bihar and Mysore)
  • P. e. albifrons
  • Plains of central Myanmar
  • Split as Jerdon's Minivet P. albifrons by Gill and Donsker (2010)[2]

Habitat

Dry deciduous forest.
