Identification

Distribution

Brazil, Guyana, and Venezuela.

Taxonomy

Four subspecies are recognized: paraquensis, duidae, albigularis, and roraimae.

SACC has recently voted to change the genus for this species because several phenotypic traits all indicated closer similarity to species in genus Syndactyla.

Habitat

Moist montanes.
