Jane you know very well that most of us can't stand IDing raptors from photos! Oh well, I suppose someone has to start:

1) Griffon Vulture
2) Black Kite
3) Kestrel
4) A dead fly on the lens. Or possibily a Golden Eagle
5) Red Kite
6) Bonelli's Eagle
7) Short-toed Eagle
8) Red Kite again

First stab

Set1: Griffon Vulture, Red Kite, Red-footed Falcon, Lesser Spotted Eagle

Set 2: Red Kite (again, confidence slipping), Gawd knows - another Griffon?, Short-toed Eagle, another flaming Red Kite

I really, really hate raptors - this is just a quick stab (i`m at work so can`t really study them properly)

Griffon Vulture
Black Kite
Red-footed Falcon
Golden Eagle
Black Kite
Booted Eagle

O,k. Here Goes.
1 Griffon vulture
2 Black Kite
3 Kestrel (GTX)
4 White Tailed Eagle
5 Red Kite
6 Harrier
7 Short Toed Eagle
8 Red Kite

There are two people with 6 right, and between them they have named all 8

Whoops one of those is actually 5, but the all between then rule holds

I'm just interested in what people say about the kites - I thought they were all Red Kites.

As for the rest...mostly I'd just be guessing, I'm a plumge feature rather than a jizz man, especially in pics.

Spud

1=Griffon, 2=Red Kite, 3=Merlin, 4=Black Vulture
5=Red Kite, 6=Griffon, 7=Short-toed Eagle, 8=Black Kite
probably wildy wrong but I'll admit I love raptors. ;)

Merlin and Back Vulture were my first thoughts for 3 and 4 but for some reason I changed my mind. Looking forward to the answers or some clues.

Ok then... still no MF... but here is bird 8 a bit bigger and with slightly more plumage showing
