Giant Bristlegrass
Giant Bristlegrass (Setaria magna: Poaceae) Although an annual it stands 1.8-3.7 m (6-12 ft) tall with panicles reaching as much as 50 cm (20 in) in length.
Habitat
Gulf Prairies and Marshes vegetation area, barrier island, coastal prairies with sand dunes. Just to the north is the Boliver Roads Channel connecting the Gulf of Mexico to the east and Galveston Bay to the west.
