    Is this Ragwort?

    Looks like leaf of the Common Ragwort.. Senecio jacobaea.Flower wont appear until June.Home to Cinnabar caterpillars.

    Little Tern 3 Little Tern at Laytown today.Watched from beach across from O`Reilly`s newsagents.Worked their way up and down beach feeding.Great to see them again.Wish the team at Béal Trá the best of luck for coming season.Today 12.15.

    Wigtown Osprey Back!

    Delighted to hear that osprey back in Wigtown. I was a visitor there last July and was very lucky to see the beautiful bird. Will follow their progress with interest this year and hope that they manage to have a sucessful season. It is a beautiful part of the world and really enjoyed our time...

    Was up in Cruisetown Tues. Saw the 3 juv. icegull and field with Hooper.Heading down Balbriggan/Gormanstown way this morn.Did Boyne estuary on Wed.Amazing number of Golden Plover 000`s.Beautiful sight.
