I think you will find that it is Biting Stonecrop, Sedum acre. Excellent shot.

Four alternatives for connecting a DSLR to a scope?

I believe that I read on this forum somewhere that the acuter scopes are the same as celestron scopes both made by Synta. If this is the case then this is what I found when using the celestron version. 1. Will work.............but if your lens is not internally focussing and you mount it to...

    Some D7000 images

After waiting at home yesterday for the camera to arrive I had to catch up on a lot of work today but managed to take a few more shots at lunchtime. I've posted samples at 1600 and 6400 iso because, for me at least, the high iso capabilities are going to make my old manual focus primes much...

Sell the D300s while you can!

This is what the D7000 can do. D7000 at ISO 6400. 100% crop I know it's a lousy image - hand held at 100th sec with no VR, 135mm lens. Taken half an hour after I received the camera, so it was a jpeg with all the camera settings still at manufacturers default. It impresses me, but it's...

    Western Scotland birding

Waxwings at Inveraray A fock of about 40 Waxwing around the car park area of Inveraray today. Seen first at 11.30 then again at 2.30 feeding on a Chinese Rowan by the Primary School. Seems rather early to see so many on the west coast so just wondering if they have been seen anywhere else...

Exact size for an A4 print please-3rd attempt

If your printer can print borderless you will have to select that in printing preferences. You will get the option to enter printing preferences in the photo printing wizard on the next page after you select the image. Check the options on each of the tabs and select borderless if it is there...

Not able to host Camera Raw with CS3 Bridge

I believe that you can label and rate raw files in multiple selection via Bridge, but the page in 'Behaviour' that refers to labels applies to all files and not specifically or selectively to any one file type. Neil

re sizing in Elements 4.0-photo frame

Christine If your photoframe is 800 x 600 pixels then all you need is an image that is also 800 x 600 pixels and it will fit the photoframe perfectly pixel for pixel. The actual physical size of the image is rendered irrelevant so there is absolutely no need to even think about that. There...

re sizing in Elements 4.0-photo frame

Use the crop tool as Jeff said, but type into the dialogue box in the top row 800px for the width and 600px for the height or vice versa. The crop tool will do the job in one go without need to bother about the size. Neil

    UK raptor?

Just found this thread and had a look at the images in photoshop. Reducing the size for display on the forum has seriously messed up the detail as you can see. Might be possible to get something more out of the original though.

    Help Needed Connecting Jobo Gigavu

I wonder, is explorer failing to update 'My Computer' for you after you connect the drive. You could try leaving the drive connected and switched on whilst you reboot the computer.
