Genus: Kenopia
Description
This genus contains only one species, the Striped Wren-Babbler of SE Asia.
It's a rather distinctive babbler with a deep, slightly hooked bill and stiff brush-like loral feathering.
Taxonomy
Kenopia is a genus in the Family Pellorneidae.
It was formerly placed in the family Timaliidae.
It seems to be closely related to Ptilocichla and Robsonius.
