    Gordon's place in Aviemore for fishing ospreys is excellent just google aviemore ospreys, I can vouch for that as I have some pretty good pics to prove it. See link below they are underneath squirrels and kites. It runs about £100 for the morning. the ospreys fish between 04:00 to 7:30...

    Ian its more than likely due to the winds at the moment in the migration passage. From what I understand westerly winds are very hazardous for them.

    hdew cameras

    I used HDew last year when I bought my 7d off them and the service was good, delivery was a little longer than I had hoped for but the money I saved well made up for it. I think they had trouble sourcing the camera at the time which was why the delivery was about a week.

    That's funny Mick cos mine scatters if I go near the window, but I did get a real close up of long tailed tits who flew onto the feeder I was standing next to no more than 2 feet away, I just stood and watched amazing.

    I have to agree that prime lenses are sharper than zooms. I have the 100-400 and unless you get the focus absolutely spot on and fairly close it can be a bit soft.     Very busy at the bird feeder today!

    Just seen a gsw in the garden this morning for the first time on a feeder with very few sunflower hearts, hope he comes back.....
