Still trying to get my GF a pair of mid-range 8x32s... The primary options I'm looking at are the Cabela's Euro HD, Zeiss Conquest HD, and Kowa Genesis.
The Euro HD is on sale at a good price. The Zeiss is always a fan-favorite. The big Kowa is probably my favorite full-sized bino, but I've not gotten to try its little brother. I've looked through the Euro HD and Zeiss HD side-by-side and always thought the Euro seemed just a tad better ergonomically, but I think the Zeiss had better Eye-relief. Optically I couldn't discern much as I was indoors.
The others that contend would be things like the 8x32 Trinovid HD (seems overpriced and I'm still not sure what the actual FoV is as the numbers presented when it was released don't make sense) and the Minox MIG (which I've never before seen) among others I'm probably forgetting.
My basic question is thus:
Which of the mid-range 8x32s would/did you choose and why?
Justin
