8x20 Trin or Ultra ? (1 Viewer)

I recently purchased a pair of 8x20 trinovoids and have really been enjoying them but am wondering if I should have purchased the ultravoids instead. If I am out in humid misty weather or cold foggy weather should I be concerned about inside fogging? Do the insides usually dry out OK? Having been in astronomy several years I do know how to care for outer optics but am wondering if I should have gotten the ultravoids which are purged as I found a good deal from an individual or not worry about it and go on. I would appreciate any adice. Thanks, Jerome

Jerome, the mini-Trinovids are water resistant. For a German binocular that usually means that they are not submersible, everything else is ok. I know a guy in Brazil who uses them in very wet climate, and they don't fog.
As far as differences between Trinos and Ultras, they are there. See the post by laservet about "trinovid coatings".
